Who is Behind Bleachy Keen?

Bleachy Keen was created by Brandt Cooley as a side hustle, because sometimes playing a guitar made out of a Nintendo doesn't quite pay all the bills! Eventually, his (music and life) partner Blythe Renay started helping out at conventions and markets, and now does a lot of the social media work when she can.

How It Started

It all began because Brandt was touring as a nerdy synth/pop musician, but he couldn't afford the big orders that most t-shirt companies require. He started experimenting with how to create his own designs, and eventually landed on bleach! Over the years, he has perfected his methods and expanded beyond bleach shirts, but the heart of the business remains the same.

Why We Appreciate Every Order

Brandt is a musician (Professor Shyguy) and actor, and Blythe is a singer, actor, and voice over performer (video games, anime, podcasts, etc.), but working in the arts is harder than ever. Every order made through Bleachy Keen helps us breathe a little easier and live a little more comfortably. Recently, Brandt has been through a brain surgery (with another one coming soon...), which meant being unable to set up a booth at conventions or markets for months at a time. This store has kept us going through tough times, and we are so grateful for every customer!
